Bachelor semester 1, first quarter (architecture assignment).
Design a house specifically tailored for a non-standard client. Do not exceed a total surface area of 50m².
In the final design the house has been split up into 2 separate volumes, one on the shore and one on the water. The living quarters measure a total of 35m² for 2 people, without compromising the luxury levels one expects to receive with a design this extravagant.

Final presentation drawings. Presentation was printed on A1 sheets in full colour.

Bachelor semester 1, second quarter (urbanistic assignment).
Design a small town with 50 identical houses and a public function.
The final design featured elements only already found (either today or during some time in the past) in the environment. A golfcourse takes up most of the area and it serves as a golfcourse as well as a themepark. The 'theme' here being the landscape in which is resides. Every hole aims at explaining a different era or features in the landscape history. Respectively:
·Salien (iceage), deposition of glacier-ridges.
·Weichselien (iceage), sea-level changes and valley formation.
·Peat (plants), the formation of peat layers in the soil.
·Lakes (terraformation), the intrusion of the sea and creation of manmade hills.
·Polders (terraformation), the creation of dikes and construction of mills.
·Allotment (terraformation), the division of new lands inside the dikes.
·Birds (ecology), the new ecosystem (fauna mostly) that invaded the newly won surface areas.
·Trees (ecology), the dominance of several types of trees over others in the lowlands.
