Download and install the UV Eclipse program. It comes with an uninstaller and a helpfile. UV eclipse was written in Visual Basic 6. The installer software was kindly supplied by Tarma technologies.
The installer will unpack and register several dll's. It will also add 2 file format definitions to your system: *.5am (lightdome data files) *.2pm (UV Eclipse internal files) Please use the uninstaller to remove the software, if you delete the files manually you will end up with useless, rogue files and registry entries. Although this in itself is not dangerous, it is a waste of system resources. |

The Rhinoceros importer script was written by me. It will work for Rhino3+
Although Rhino is equipped with a native render engine this importer is mainly aimed at Flamingo users. This doesn't mean you cannot use UV eclipse in collaboration with Treefrog, Penguin or RhinoMan as well.

The 3D Studio Max importer script was written by Richard Annema of SplutterFish, LLC. SplutterFish, LLC develops a renderer called Brazil r/s for 3D Studio Max, Rhinoceros and more.
(Although SplutterFish, LLC cannot be held responsible for any damages resulting from the use of this software, they'd be happy to help with any bugs. See the documentation for details.)

The AutoCAD importer was written by Daniel Hargreaves and caters both for native AutoCAD lights and AccuRender lights. It can be downloaded for free from his site http://www.ArchSymb.com
(Daniel is also responsible for the massively useful ArchSymb plugin for AutoCad. ArchSymb is an architectural overlay of symbols and routines for AutoCAD 2000+ and Architectural Desktop. ArchSymb boosts your productivity by reducing the need to repeat common commands and block creation.) |
